SPC University Class: "Putting American Idols in Their Place" with Dick Leon, Sundays this Fall...

One author calls the human heart an “idol-making factory.” When good things become our idols then bad things happen to our faith and our lives. It is no accident that the first Commandment is: “You shall have no other gods before me,” because nearly all our flaws flow from breaking it. This six-week class will try to examine how our American Idols have supplanted God often without our knowing it and also to discover God’s way out of our destructive idol-making habits.
