Sunday Mornings--Mid High Summer Sunday School is on Break until September 12 when we kick off our Fall Season!

330 hour0 Hour Famine, Thank You Students and Leaders!

Each day, we live in a world that loses over 29,000 children to hunger and disease. 30 Hour Famine is an opportunity for students in 6th-12th grade to experience the impact of hunger first-hand by fasting for 30 hours.

Over 95 students recently completed the famine and raised over $11,000 for World Vision. During the famine, students built 500 Aids Caregiver Kits, many of which will go directly to the SPC Partner Community of Mahlalini, Swaziland. Caregivers are in desperate need of supplies in this HIV/AIDS- wracked community, so our hope is that these kits will relieve some of our friends' burden there. Students also collected thousands of items in a local canned food hunt throughout the Sammamish and Issaquah communities--all of which is being donated to the Issaquah Food Bank to shore up local supplies. Thank you to all the students and leaders who participated in this awesome and meaningful event
