How was Holy Spirit taught/portrayed/discussed in your early faith experience? Has this understanding changed over the years? Why or why not?
John 14:12 says that whoever believes in Christ will do the works He did…and even greater ones. What do you think Jesus means? Is he speaking metaphorically or literally? Is he speaking only of certain Christians or all who believe? What is the implication for you and me?
Holy Spirit works in our lives in a multitude of ways. How are you experiencing the life and power of Holy Spirit in your daily life and practice? Give an example, if you can.
If you desire to grow in this area, spend time praying Acts 1:8 and John 14:12 together, for one another and for our faith community. Pray with expectant hope and faith!
