Sunday Mornings @ SPC Kids
Welcome to Sunday Mornings at Sammamish Presbyterian Church! We are excited for your family to join us.
All children should be checked in at the iPads in our Sanctuary Hall, to the left as you enter through the front doors. Our SPC Kids Ministry staff and volunteers will be there to welcome you and answer any questions you have.
During Check-in, your child will receive a printed nametag which they should wear. You will also receive a printed security code which you will need to show to pick up your child at the end of class.
For Birth – 2 years old
Parents are welcome to leave babies of any age in our Nursery (S-101) during Sunday Worship. We also understand that many parents may want to bring their baby to Worship, and that’s okay, too! Babies and kids are always welcome in our Sanctuary during the Worship Experience.
If you’d prefer a quiet place to sit with your baby, please check out our Quiet Room in the back of the Sanctuary. From there, you can watch the service through large windows and the audio is played through speakers, and you can adjust the volume if needed. This is a great option if your child is fussy or needing to nap, and there are a variety of small toys and books to keep little ones occupied.
For Preschool and Pre-K
Preschool and Pre-K students can be checked in at the iPads in Sanctuary Hall, then taken directly to their classroom, S-102. This classroom is out the rear doors of the Sanctuary Hall, next to the playground. The Preschool JAM City class runs for the entire Worship Experience, and kids can be picked up in their classroom after the service is finished.
While in the Preschool class, kids will experience free play, as well as an age-appropriate Bible lesson. Lessons are multimedia, and often include music, movement, crafts, games, and other fun activities.
For Kindergarten – 5th Grade
Elementary students are invited to join their parents in the Sanctuary for the beginning of the Worship Experience and will be dismissed to their JAM City classes approximately 15 minutes into the service. Please check your child in at the iPads in Sanctuary Hall before going in to the Sanctuary for Worship. Kids will be dismissed from there to go to JAM City, and they’ll meet their teachers in Sanctuary Hall before proceeding to their classrooms.
While in JAM City, kids will experience an age-based Bible lesson. Lessons are multimedia, and often include music, movement, crafts, games, and other fun activities.
Parents can pick up their children in their classrooms after the Worship Experience.
