SPC Vision (3 of 6): Generations

We are intentionally reaching out to multiple generations in our local community. Our Senior's ministry has over 120 people gathering weekly for community and teaching and has established healthy thriving ministry in local retirement communities, and CCRC’s. SPC Kids ministry split across multiple locations welcomes over 120 children and offers multiple environments for parents and families to connect with each other. The SPC Student Ministry (6th through 12th) has over 120 students meeting weekly for community, belonging, developmentally appropriate teaching, and mission opportunities.

3-year Picture

  • Middle School Sunday – 30-40 students

  • High School Sunday – 30-40 students

  • Middle School Weekday – 40-50

  • High School Weekday – 40-50

  • 40 HS Students went to TJ

  • 40 HS/MS went on a mission experience in the year

  • 15 HS Students went through Confirmation

  • Average SPC Kids Attendance (N-5th) is over 60

  • Midweek 4th and 5th grade program monthly – 30 kids

  • Student Ministry Director has hired either MS/HS Specific Intern

  • Senior Ministry gathers over 60 senior adults weekly for varying events throughout the week

  • Senior Ministry events are beginning to happen within the local retirement communities.

  • Senior Ministry Director hired

  • VBS has over 150 kids involved and over 50 HS/MS helpers

  • All Leadership Teams are healthy, robust, and reflect community demographics

12 month Goals

Continue to grow Student Ministry to the following targets in the next 12 months through leadership training, relationship building, and mission experiences.

  • Middle School Sunday – 20-30 students

  • High School Sunday – 20-30 students

  • Middle School Weekday – 30-40

  • High School Weekday – 30-40

Continue to grow SPC Kids to the following targets in the next 12 months through volunteer recruitment, leader training and support. Providing community-oriented events and engagement for families.

  • Average SPC Kids Attendance (N-5th) is over 40

  • Increase relational engagement at community-oriented events (Fall Festival, Date Night, Parent Conferences, etc.)

  • VBS has over 125 kids involved and over 50 HS/MS helpers

Continue to grow Senior Ministry

  • Senior Ministry gathers over 40 senior adults weekly for varying events throughout the week

  • Senior Ministry events are beginning to happen within the local retirement communities.
