The Hope of the Church/Mission

In this sermon, Rev. Jake Medcalf discussed three key themes: the purpose of human existence, the concept of being the sent people of God, and practical ways to live out this mission in everyday life. He highlighted the significance of both Easter morning and evening, and how Jesus' resurrection empowers the Great Commission. The sermon emphasized the importance of making room for God in our schedules and being willing to be sent by Him to make a difference in our communities. As part of the 'Surprised by Hope: Hope in Practice' series, Rev. Medcalf encouraged the congregation to engage in the renewal of space, time, and matter.
